Clean, friendly staff, big pool, nice beach, peace, quiet

Staff didnt speak english very well, beach was a bit rocky, hotel is far away from everything

Too many mosquitoes. Asked for late check ouy (1 hr only) and it wasnt granted.

The suite was spacious and well presented, excellent accommodation for a family of 4. The resort was located on a beautiful beach and relatively quiet. Staff all super friendly and helpful.

Not much in the way of restaurants/bars or shops within walking distance. In comparison to Phuket the Khaolak region is more expensive overall but much quieter and more relaxing.

The resort has comfortable, large villas with a private swimming pool close to the beach, beautiful greenery, a well-kept area, and friendly and helpful staff. You can find various activities - bowling, Muay Thai lessons, writing Thai letters, yoga, and lots more. Of course, there is also SPA.

One Italian restaurant, located in the garden near the public swimming pool, was not ready to receive guests. I dare say that the food was not prepared on the spot; only reheated ready meals were served. I justify it with the low-season

Location was great. Close to many beach bars and restaurant's. Good buffet breakfast rooms were spacious and cleaned daily.

The decking areas were dangerous and in need of urgent repair. Stagnant water areas encouraged the flies and mosquitos. Access to main pool was limited.

Some details need more frequent maintenance. The staff is very friendly, sometimes too much, certain rules should be imposed with more effectiveness to the less fair guests.

Lovely hotel, good pools and nice beach. It’s a decent resort for couples and families. However the downside is that we had one large bed for 2 adults and 2 kids.

When we went to ask for a bigger room as we’d booked for 4 people, the manager was quite abrupt and told us it’s fully booked and we could get a spare bed (trundle) but we’d be charged for that.

We were upgraded for 2 nights of our 7 night stay to a family sized villa with a private pool. It was so luxurious and grand, we even ordered room service one night to make the most of the dining room! Having a villa with a private pool was exceptional. Even when we moved to the villa we actually booked and not the upgrade, it was so brilliant to have a private pool and very competitive price compared to the neighbouring hotels. The main pool was quite small but to be honest we swam in the sea all the time anyway so it made no difference. The hotel had great facilities including a spa which we used twice. Couples treatment package was good value for money however the package deal was definitely the best price, not sure I would have paid for a full price treatment considering the options for massage on the beach which were really cheap. Breakfast had a great range with nice touches like an egg station and a coffee station. Coffee was good. The location was absolutely excellent and quiet, not in party-central (stay closer to Phuket for that). There is a good selection of beach bars and restaurants either direction along the beach and it was reasonably cheap to eat there compared to the hotel. The hotel held a chinese new year buffet when we stayed. Sadly while it was a fun evening I dont think the menu was particularly good value for money and it didn't include drinks. It was still fun though despite having to move location short notice from the beach to the dining room due to a downpour. We booked one of the beach yoga sessions one day which was really fun and well attended. While we didn't go again the activation staff ran adult and children's activities for free all day, which is a great option if you don't want to leave the resort area. Staff were all very friendly and we had no issues making requests or communicating with reception at all hours.

Unfortunately as some other reviewers have noted, the hotel is just a little bit tired. From what I can tell it opened pre covid and is still finding its feet with some minor repairs, repainting etc. But considering how Thailand relies on tourism I am glad this hotel is still operating. It was only little things though; one of our umbrellas fell to bits when we opened it, the jets in our (first) private pool didn't work, some bits of the hotel decking and walls could use a refresh, but none of this hampered our enjoyment at all. We were not staying all inclusive which is not offered through booking.com as far as I could see. We didn't need/want all inclusive. However we did note that the hotel's beach bar always had a queue of all inclusive guests while there was a bar sharing the same physical building but serving the opposite side that had no queue. This worked well for us but I might have found waiting for drinks a bit frustrating if I was all inclusive. That being said, the non hotel beach bar next door wasnt exactly expensive. The pool bar was sporadically staffed even during "happy hour" we could not get a server so we just didn't bother. The sunloungers on the beach were constantly full, we didn't get to sit there once. But we were very happy to scout out a bar with loungers further up the beach and plonk ourselves there all day. It was quieter away from the hotel too. Some of the minor issues above I didn't mention directly to hotel staff because they were so minor. Of the interactions we did have with the staff though I'm sure if they could have done anything to help, they would have.

breakfast room felt like we were in a school dining area. no atmosphere. coffee station always buzy and running out of cups. needed two station at least somewhere nearer the beach for drinks and food that you could relax in other than a few tables and chairs frequented by those on all inclusive tariff consequently didn’t buy one drink in the hotel kept going next door to beach restaurant.

The facilities of the hotel were great! My wife liked especially the morning sessions the like yoga on the beach, aqua fitness. The staff was helpful and very nice. The kids enjoyed the pool and the beach a lot. The breakfasts were superb.

Great place to stay. Clean, tidy, beautiful beach and lots of nice near by beach restaurants. Amazing beach massages too. We did the cooking class and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Amazing decor and design, beautiful lobby. Great range of activities for throughout the day/week. Plentiful breakfast buffet, polite staff. Nice eateries in the surrounding area too. Really enjoyed the morning stretches, abs and yoga.

We had no idea it was pretty much a French all inclusive hotel. Way too many people for us, way too many towels on loungers throughout the day with no one on them, we virtually had no where to sit the first day as we arrived mid afternoon. The pool was just packed with people and kids and zero free loungers. The beach was lovely but practically no shade so those chairs were highly sort after as it got super hot!.

We came already the second Time. In my First Review i already mentioned all and in our second stay i just can confirm the Hotel is highly recommended. They organize a fantastic valentine dinner on the beach and i just want to say thanks for that awesome and cute event. This was much better than we expected

The pool was very big and nice. There were many facilities for us such as a bowling alleys, tennis courts, kayaks, mountain bikes, daily volleyball. The beach was very nice with plenty of shade and deck chairs. The sea was great and the restaurants and room service on the property served good food.

We had breakfast included but the prices of the restaurants were rather high. The smell at the enterance of the hotel was rather strong but managable. The sea had quite alot of coral when you entered.

The location is fabulous, the upkeep is second to none. Staff efficient and friendly. If there are any gripes they have soon been forgotten.

Not much to moan about, nearly everything was catered for.

Excellent breakfast. Really good dinner buffet. Very nice room. Several pools. Right on the beach, wonderful sunset.

Central lake seems abandoned. Meals are not cheap, but quite good. You have options along the beach.

The staff were amazing. So friendly, helpful and loved playing with our 5 year old daughter. Swimming pools were amazing and very long if you want to do lengths. Lots of eating options close to beach if you don’t want to eat in the resort restaurants. Tropical garden theme. Great smoothies at beach bar. Rooms well cleaned. Lovely rooms. Free kayak rental and cheap paddleboard rental.

Very bad pina colada’s at pool bar, but great ones at beach bar! Expensive food.
